Dedini retoma projeto ambiental com alunos da ‘Sud Mennucci’
A Dedini S/A Indústrias de Base aproveitou o mês dedicado ao meio ambiente para retomar seu projeto de visitas monitoradas, interrompido durante a pandemia de Covid-19. Destinado a estudantes de escolas da rede pública, o projeto tem como principal proposta apresentar as ações ambientais desenvolvidas pela empresa. Nessa nova edição, a visita, realizada em junho, teve a participação de 32 alunos do 8º Ano do Ensino Fundamental da Escola Estadual Sud Mennucci.
“O viveiro dá sustentação para o projeto de recuperação da mata ciliar da Microbacia do Guamium, parte integrante de um trabalho maior, o Projeto Água”, informa Igor Serra, do Departamento de Meio Ambiente da Dedini.
Ao trazer alunos da rede pública, de acordo com Serra, a proposta é mostrar a preocupação da empresa com o meio ambiente e influenciar positivamente os alunos, que acabam sendo multiplicadores dos conceitos apresentados.
Ao final da visita __ em que as crianças também conheceram a história da Fundição Dedini e dos metais __, os alunos plantaram espécies nativas em área da empresa, sob a supervisão do Departamento de Meio Ambiente da Dedini, receberam camisetas e canecas do projeto, almoçaram e deixaram registradas, por meio de desenhos, as impressões da atividade.
Segundo a diretora da Escola Sud Mennucci, Márcia Aparecida Lima Vieira, os alunos retornaram à escola bastante motivados, relatando suas impressões. “O impacto da visita foi muito positivo. Eles não imaginavam que uma empresa desse porte desenvolvesse ações tão relevantes para a proteção do meio ambiente”, diz.
Segundo Márcia, esse tipo de visita é muito importante, porque amplia a percepção dos alunos sobre o que acontece de positivo na comunidade e dá a eles um sentido novo sobre os projetos desenvolvidos dentro da escola. Um deles, tocado por essa turma, é a horta suspensa, que tem entre suas propostas produzir vegetais que serão incorporados à merenda.
Acompanharam os alunos da ‘Sud Mennucci’ na visita o coordenador da área de Ciências da Natureza e Matemática, Guilherme Scarassati Martins, e uma das professoras de Ciências do Ensino Fundamental, Alessandra Beatriz da Silva Messias.
ÁGUA – Em 2001, ano em que a Fundição Dedini começou a ser construída, o Conselho e a diretoria da empresa, com o apoio da Fundação Mario Dedini, decidiram pela implementação de um projeto ambiental, tendo em vista o que se projetava em termos de capacidade produtiva: até 40 mil toneladas/ano e peças de até 45 toneladas.
Desde então, com várias ações, o Projeto Água conseguiu reduzir 29,5% o volume de água captada do Ribeirão Guamium, sendo que o reaproveitamento ou reuso dessa água usada na produção chegou a 99%. No mesmo período, a empresa deixou de gerar/lançar 142.500 m³/mês de efluentes.
Outras ações contempladas incluem o reflorestamento de áreas que compõem a Microbacia do Guamium e a adequação e melhoria da ETA (Estação de Tratamento de Água).
Hoje, com as instalações modernas e os processos e equipamentos dimensionados para a melhoria dos sistemas de gestão da qualidade e do ambiente, a Fundição Dedini é uma importante referência no mercado de fundição, tanto no Brasil quanto no exterior.
